Craig Eckert

2025 – Present

Craig competed in cross country and track at Huntington North and later at Huntington University, where he was multi-time All-Conference and All-American Scholar-Athlete, while helping to lead HU to national prominence in cross country and track.  Since then, Craig has been head track and cross country coach at Vincennes University being named 2004 Region XII Coach of the Year.  He later went on to assistant at Marian University and Guerin Catholic HS. 

Currently, Craig is married to Jen, who teaches 4^th grade at St. Jude, and has 3 children.  He is a member of the St. Jude’s Finance Committee, a 4^th degree in the Knights of Columbus and works as the controller at Michael Kinder and Sons construction.  He looks forward to helping the Cardegle athletes learn, compete and grow in the sport.
