Due to construction\, the course will be different than we ran in previous seasons. \n  \nRace Schedule:                 4:30                Course Opens \n   (Tentative)                     5:00              Coaches meet at the timing trailer \n5:30               Boys reserve race \n6:00               Girls reserve race \n6:30               Boys varsity race \n7:00               Girls varsity race \n  \nPlease have athletes in their lanes 5 minutes prior to their races.  \nRace Results: Results will be available following the awards ceremony. \nStarter & Timing:           Meet Official – Steve Caswell                 Timer – Dave DeVoe  \nRace Procedures: \n\nEach participating school will be given packets/envelopes when they arrive at the east end of the football field.\nOn arrival\, please meet NMS staff member near the east end of the football field as stated above.\nAll runners will be assigned a timing chip and race bib. Only 7 will run as varsity runners.  All other participants will run in the reserve race.\nRunners should attach their assigned bib and timing chip. See attached photo for an example of chip attachment with twist ties. Chips will be disposable\, so there is no need to return them.\nEvent workers will catch each runner at the finish chute corral area\, providing them with water.\nRunners with timing chips should not be anywhere near the finish line when they are not racing!\nOnly coaches and participants are allowed on the course.\nWater will be provided to all athletes at the finish line.\n\n Awards Ceremony: \nWe will distribute awards on the softball field.  Runners and fans should gather at the conclusion of the girls varsity race.  \nAwards: \nCustom medals to the top 10 finishers in each race \n
